Outlook 2010 persistently asks for product key.

I have the MS Office 2010 Home and Student installed. First of all Word, Excel and Powerpoint all work without any problems. Whenever I start Outlook I see the configuration screen asking for my product key. Once that is entered the configuration proceeds and completes. I have managed to set up email OK but the configuration screen will pop up and begin all over again. It seems I am going around in circles. I deleted the profile and began again with the same end result. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this please? I have run a repair but no better.

Office 2010 Home and Student does not include Outlook:

What is included in the Office 2010 suites?

Well I never! So that's why. Thank you. It seems strange that Outlook is available in the setup process as an available module and I was able to set up my mail provider and see my IMAP folders in it. I would have expected the option to be greyed out and completely unavailable. It's also shown in the Start menu.Odd!

Agreed; that you would think Microsoft would make "trialware" more obviously different.

Trialware, I see. There was no no indication whatsoever that it was trialware. It wouldn't even work for more than a few seconds at a time and no invitation to upgrade. Pity. It explains the continuous requests for a product key. I would have liked to use Outlook and the calendar.
