Thanks so much! It's less about the most recently updated contacts as it is I was using contacts for information sheets that contained list of URLs and phone numbers for my various financial accounts, another conduct that listed all of my various doctors dentists and so forth and the names of their receptionists, list of password hints and so on.

But I'm now switching to putting all that stuff in Excel spreadsheets which are easy to back up.

FYI I tried a veiwer and it does seem to have all the folders and all the contents. The Contacts however seem to be missing the Notes: section, which is all the stuff I really need.

But it may purposely not be showing all the info, since they want you to pay over $100 to actually covert the OST file.

I did recover everything outlook related under my username, but there was no PST file, only copies of the same OST file. Bummer.

I keep all that stuff in outlook.com with 2FA enabled.

This way it syncs with my phone and my desktop. Changes made anywhere are reflected everywhere.

Very easy to backup. Use Outlook 20xx and export outlook.com contact file. I export once as PST and once as CSV.

CSV I use to pull into my gmail account which acts as another backup and if I need to go to that mail my contacts are as recent as my last import.
