Word(Office 2019) can't convert pdf files / Outlook crashes pst import

    Hi,
I did a clean windows 10 ver.1809 installation and decided to take up an offer from Microsoft HUP and also installed the newest Office Professional Plus 2019 package. Also did Kari's tutorial of User file relocation which I have done many times before. All worked well. But I have 2 issues which I just can't get over and can't find any information from different forums. One is concerning non functional pdf creations with Word 2019 and the other one is Outlook problem where outlook craches each time when trying to import my outlook back-ups, eg. *pst files.
    Please, can enyone help?
Please see attached screen shots for details.Word(Office 2019) can't convert pdf files / Outlook crashes pst import-non-active-pdf-convert-word-2019.pngWord(Office 2019) can't convert pdf files / Outlook crashes pst import-office-version-info.pngWord(Office 2019) can't convert pdf files / Outlook crashes pst import-word-com-addin_pdf-maker-active.png

    Hi bro67,
Your answer/solution is not correct. Perhaps I didn't identify the issue clear enough. Outlook crashes immediatelly when selecting import/export, I can't even select the backuped pst file which is located in external drive. So the issue is definitely in the outlook software itself.

That is because the file is corrupted and needs repaired. Follow the info in the link I posted.

The issue is a little more complicated.
In 1809, there seems to be a problem with Word and Acrobat PDFMaker addin and to be precise with COM addins in general.
It's a problem addressed to Adobe and there are some very nice and extremely knowledgeable people trying to deal with it.

@Risto, can you save any file in Word, with the Acrobat PDFMaker enabled (or as you have it, which is exactly as I do, enabled but non fuctional)?
Not save as pdf but as docx, doc etc
If you can't save, disable the addin in the 3rd screen you posted, close and reopen Word and try again to save.

    Hi ddelo,
Word itself seems to work OK, I can save documents as docx, I can even print documents as pdf files and save them using print command, so the Adobe pdf converter works in the background. The issue has to be in the COM addins which causes the Acrobat addins to be enabled but NOT functional.
Have you found any info concerning this issue from Adobe's web pages?

Any advices concerning my second issue with Outlook?

Using Office 2019 , indeed lots of troubles with converting files ( word, pdf, etc.)
After disabling some security-settings the problem is solved !!
Im able to convert from PDF to Word , from Word to PDF , txt-files to Word/PDF, etc.
These "security-settings" are very nasty, coz they cripple the functionality of the Office-programs............

Nothing yet from Adobe. They are trying to see what is going on, but it looks like a Microsoft problem with COM addins.
As for the Outlook issue, I'm afraid I don't have anything.

Can you be more specific...? Which are these "security settings" and what have you done.
