Hi there
I'm not sure if there is an EXCEL 2017 (there is EXCEL 2016).
EXCEL 2019 very little difference to EXCEL 2016 in Office 2016 and in fact a fairly insignificant difference to EXCEL 2010 in Office 2010 !!!. Most of it is about Working in teams / collaboration stuff which I don't need anyway but each person's need is different.
My main objection to these later versions of Office is that it's almost impossible in OUTLOOK to install manually email addresses where you have your own domain servers with different passwords etc. The newer versions of Office (The click2run versions rather than the older stand alone iso's) automate the process and if your account isn't a standard one that's in the database then you've had it. You can sometimes get lucky by a get around - there's still an OUTLOOK (or OUTLOOK 2016 - eve for OUTLOOK 2019) applet in the control panel which gives the old manual set up screens.
If you don't have or use OUTLOOK in MS office then this won't be an issue of course.
Cheers
