office 2016 does not show updates

    office 2016 does not show updates


    I have updated several times office 2016 via word file ->account: button: update options: update now : it sayes: your office is up to date.
    Then i click update options: view updates and it opens a microsoft webpage but does not show updates
    I've done the same with excel: same result

    Is this a bug of office 2016?

    Nope. Microsoft is no longer updating 2016, unless it is a critical security update.

    Hi there

    I think sometimes you give out so much incorrect info on these boards !!!

    Even Office 2010 gets updates until 2020 so PLEASE CHECK YOUR FACTS before posting or have you never heard of GOOGLE !!!

    There's not likely to be many new features in these versions office anyway but there will be some updates to all these products - usually Ms keeps stuff in life for 10 years. Office 2016 won't be retired until the whole "In House" versions are switched to the Click2run versions for corporates -- and that will take a while yet. Not all corporates want Office/365 for all sorts of reasons.
