Office 2019
Can you still load parts of office 2019 like office 2016, I only use Word,Excel,Power Point? Do you have to uninstall office 2016 of does it do a upgrade to 2019?.

Hi there
@zplugger
with each version / update portion of office it gets more and more like a Kindergarten edition -- pretty well all the old decent customisations etc are either non existent or very hard to find. Email set up is also an absolute dog if you have any sort of non standard servers with different passwords / user accounts on the inbound and outbound servers.
There are some programs out there in the wild that seem to have a better customisation -- but if you use these it's very much AYOR even though you can still use your own keys and avoid any of those piratical keygens.
Personally unless you really need Office 2016/2019 just stick to Office 2010 (still getting updates etc until Oct 13 2020) or if you must have 2016 / 2019 get the iso rather than the wretched Click2run stuff and inhibit the current updates which creates all the rubbish.

I think I will stay with my office 2016,it runs just find for me. Most of the time I just like to keep programs updated to newest version,in this case I will stick what works good.
A note: even though it's been unsupported for some time Office 2000 still works on Win10, have it on both RTM Notebooks and an IP Desktop. I only need the basics and not Outlook. I did add the Compatibility Pack [FileFormatConverters.exe] added so as to work with files from Office 2007 and later.
Hi there
@Berton
I have an XP VM where Office 2007 (enterprise) still works brilliantly as well. Outlook express on that machine also works as well as outlook 2007 even these days on IMAP and multiple accounts although that's not my main email client. !!
I'm going to change XP VM to Win server 2003 as it's far better and can easily convert to a workstation OS --got the old TechNet keys which are still valid -- am using as I make a load of customized vinyl's for people -- the hardware -- brilliant won't work on newer Windows and I don't need to pay around 45,000 USD for upgraded studio hardware for the sort of business volumes I deal with --this is more of a hobby for me than a 100% income making business -- it easily covers its costs though and people love the customized vinyls.

I have Office 2019 Home & Student. It comes with (only) Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. So there was no issue of installing only parts of it. I installed it on a brand new desktop so there was no issue of uninstalling a prior version. Works great. On my previous desktop I had Office 2013, never did get Office 2016. I try to upgrade everything every five years. Just FYI.
