Enter network password pop-up Office 12

I've tried to get rid of the password pop-up. I had found another post followed instructions I did find the scanpst.exe file and I did a repair still have pop-up They had instructions for x86 which I followed C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12

It appeared to repair this folder since is aid it had some bad folders...clearly not an expert just trying to be less needy

    these where instructions I followed:

" Go to File Explorer > click This PC > scroll down to C: drive > right click at it, click Open > Open Programs files > Open Microsoft Office > Open Office 12.

Inside Office 12 you will see scanpst, exe. Right click at it > click Open.
    That's it."

ScanPST does not affect any password you have set on the pst file[s] in use.

If you have not set any such password then please explain exactly what you see because it might be, just by way of example, your email account's password that is being sought. You could use snipping tool to capture the dialog you see and show it in your next post but be sure to explain at which stage the dialog appears.

By the way, if your ScanPST is on C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 then your version of Office is Office 2007. Despite the name of the folder, people do not normally use the term Office 12.

It is now a new question and I suggest starting a new thread.

In your new thread I urge you to
1 Confirm your version of MS Office Outlook [I believe it is Office 2007 but check for yourself in Help, About].
2 Confirm or otherwise that all the available Office 2007 updates were installed
3 Confirm or otherwise that you were previously able to send and receive email through this or some other email account using Outlook.
4 Describe the stage of events when it all went wrong.
5 Describe everything you did about it until the "popup" went away
6 Describe what has happened since the "popup" went away

    - Explain why you ran ScanPST because it does not seem relevant to the problem as described.
    - Explain why you wrote "according to Microsoft" in your last post
    - Post a screenshot of your email accounts - the tab to the left of your last diagram. In both your old and new diagram, use a graphics program to block out your email address before posting / reposting.
