    MS Word configeration

    Hi

Earlier, I clicked on a notification pop up saying a programme was slowing my PC down, I thinks it was something about office 365

Now, when I try and open my saved MS word documents, when I try and open each document, MS configuration opens saying configuration in progress but crashes whilst loading

I've gone into control panel, right clicked change and repaired MS, but still not working

    Any ideas

I see you are using AVG. Maybe it was AVG tuneup, cleaning something in registry.

    Edit: try to undo changes:

Click on Start Menu>All Programs>AVG PC TuneUp>All functions>Rescue Center click ‘Undo changes’,
Think this is from older version, but new one should have this too
Do you have any backup solution? If not, try system restore to the date before this occurred.

    Hi Andre

Thank you, for simplicity (for me) I've reset the PC to factory settings, I have MS word 2007 enterprise, with activation key, do you have a link I can download and enter my activation code please?

Sorry, Take a guess. Office 2007 is far away. Enterprise keys could not work anymore, but try it with your original source.

    Hi

I have MS Office 2007 Enterprise (old) I'm trying to open Outlook email, but it's not recognising my product key (maybe because it's to old)

I'm unemployed due to my medical disability, other than ebay, anyone know where I can purchase a cheaper version of MS office?

If, like me, you are content to keep using the no-longer-supported MS Office 2007, you can buy it from Amazon fairly cheaply.

Amazon searches are pretty naff - you'll have to look through each entry to see if it is 2007 or a later version - https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...ms+office+2007
    - All the editions of Office 2007 on the first page include Word [I think all Office 2007 editions do but you'll want to study each product page & its illustrations to check]
    - The Pro edition of Office 2007 includes Outlook [PIM - calendar, contacts, notes, email] & Access database
    - All the offers I looked at on page 1 of the search results are from "Amazon marketplace" sellers rather than Amazon itself but I have used them successfully for several purchases

Are we taking at cross-purposes? Have you activated Office using your Product key? You can check in, for example,
    Word,
    Office button [in top-left corner],
    Word options,
    Resources,
    About.
If that shows that Office is licensed then the product key is not relevant to anything else at all.

Your email account uses the password you set for it not your Office product key.
