That's good. No apology is needed. I wanted to clarify things in order not to cause confusion by making the wrong assumption.

So the problem you were seeing might be that Outlook was telling you to enter the details of an email account as soon as you opened it for the first time after reinstallation? It does do this but you can either
    - do it properly by entering your real email account details, or
    - just get through that stage by entering rubbish** such as Fred@Bloggs.com and then setting up your email account later through Tools, Account settings, EMail.
[** Naturally, the rubbish will fail testing but you can just abort and then carry on opening up Outlook]

I do not know at what stage you are getting the dialog you show. I have never seen that error.

I do know that having different versions of Outlook installed at the same time can cause fatal problems but I think from your other posts that Office 2007 is all you have.

I do know that there are many, many updates to MS Office 2007 so it might easily be the lack of updating that causes the error, particularly if your installation does not include SP3 [which is something you can check using the same procedure I gave you before for checking Office's activation]. I have 3 copies of that dll file with different version numbers so it has definitely been affected by updates at some stage.

I installed all the Office 2007 updates by starting with
Microsoft Office 2007 Suite Service Pack 3
and then working through in date order from
    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...?q=Office+2007
but you might prefer to let Windows update** find them all & get them for you because I am sure my method involved a lot of unnecessary updates [i.e. ones that had been superceded by later updates].

** To have Windows update include Office 2007 updates you will need to set:-
    Settings,
    Update & security,
    Advanced options,
Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows.

I appreciate that all that is a lot of work but there have been so many updates to Office 2007 that it would not be possible to say anything sensible about your error dialog before they had all been done. If, however, that error appears again with a fully updated Office 2007 I would recommend running a built-in repair facility called Office diagnostics:-
    Word [or Excel etc],
    Word options,
    Resources,
    Run Microsoft Office diagnostics,
[at the end of the procedure it will suggest going online for further checks but they no longer exist].

If the problem remains then I would suggest starting a specific thread on that subject and including olmapi32.dll in the title of the thread to attract the attention of somebody who might have experience of dealing with it before.

    Take a guess said:

I did a quick search on this error and it gives information that Office should be uninstalled (check if you don't have several versions), delete Office folder (Office13 I guess) and reinstall again.

Another suggestion is to just reinstall Outlook (it's for Office 2010, but should work for 2007 too):
Check and uninstall for any multiple or earlier version of Office installed on the computer.
Also make Outlook 2010 as not available. To do so do the following:
    · Go to Start\ Control Panel\ Programs and features.
    · Click on Microsoft Office 2010 and select change.
    · Select Add or remove Programs and click on Next.
    · Click on the symbol next to Microsoft Outlook and select Not Available.
    · Click on Continue.
Once the custom uninstallation is completed, delete the MAPI/MSMAPI Folder from the following location: C:\Program Files \Common Files\System.
Also browse to the location C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 and rename OLMAPI32.DLL to OLMAPI32.OLD.
Once the above steps have completed, make Outlook 2010 available and check if it helps. To do so do the following:
    · Go to Start\ Control Panel\ Programs and features.
    · Click on Microsoft Office 2010 and select change.
    · Select Add or remove Programs and click on Next.
    · Click on the symbol next to Microsoft Outlook and select Run from My Computer.
    · Click on Continue.

    My recommendations

there have been so many updates to Office 2007 that it would not be possible to say anything sensible about your error dialog before they had all been done
I urge you to do the updating I recommended.

Then I urge you to run Office diagnostics, as I also recommended before.

Then start a new thread if you need to for the olmapi32.dll problem if it is still a problem afterwards.

I had also researched your problem extensively before posting yesterday and I do not think that any of those other suggestions are as effective as doing what I suggested. Indeed, I do not think any of those other suggestions are relevant to your situation.

What does it show on that screen below the list?

Have you set your internet connection to be "metered"? If so there will be a download now button.

If you have not set your internet connection to be "metered" then downloading & installation should happen automatically.
