    New accounts aren't the problem -- it's if you go to CHANGE - especially after the latest updates you don't get full config screens. !!!

    That is true. It is always better / easier to remove account you want to change, then add it again with your changes.

    About the registry patch ForceOSTPath

    I have tried to 'force' the .OST file be placed in a different folder without success.
    That is to say: when my account is set up in IMAP mode. In that case the .ost file will still be placed on C:\
    So the registry setting is ignored.

    Tried to do this a dozen times (at least), removing account, removing .ost, rebooting, relaunching Outlook, again adding account. Definitely no luck.
    That is... when using IMAP.

    This patch is 'adhered to' when using Exchange though.
