    Outlook Data File Size Limit

I have a .pst file from Outlook 2003 that has reached its size limit of 2GB. If I import it into a newer version of Outlook will I be able to continue with that data file?

If not, is there a way I can increase the size limit?

    Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. You can use it along with a new PST size limit depends on the version of Outlook

    From MS documentation:

In Outlook 2003 and 2007, .pst files are in Unicode format and by default the limit is configured as 20 GB.
What was the sign that you've reached limit size?

Edit: here is procedure to convert from ANSI (older with 2 GB limit) to Unicode version:

You're welcome. Can barely remember those days, when we were converting... Just follow the manual way, transfere folders so you'll keep your messages' dates.
