I am just curious if anyone has downloaded and used successfully any of the programs for fixing Error 1935?
    Good morning, @huffman!

Is this a new issue, or a continuation of your previous thread?

It is a continuation, but trying to go in direction to fix the problem of NOT being able to install any Office program on my Windows 10.

LOL btw, the f14 is an old bird.

According to the original post, It appears to me your Windows 10 install is in trouble and that should be fixed first.

Here's your other forum post: Error 1935 Any Fix Soon - Windows 10 Forums

Did you try the methods that I linked to?
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...e-2010-or-2007

If you haven't done so, try this method over at that link:
Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework components

After running the clean up utility, download and install the Net Framework versions 3.5 and 4.0 from the given links.

This will be my last post on this subject. I finally got a solution to get around Error 1935 when installing any office program.

The first thing is you have to boot in safe mode. In safe mode, go to the System32 folder and find mscoree.dll.
    Change that to mscoreebak.dll.
Now boot normally and install the desired programs. (I have installed Open Office and one other free office doing it this way).

Go back into safe mode and rename the file back to mscoree.dll.

Will this work for anyone? I hope so, that is why I am posting it.

    Good luck to everyone.
