scdkey.com legit website to buy Office?

    Hello folks,

I was given Office 2013 key by a friend of mine after he got a 2016 version. But I lost the installer in HDD crash. Downloading the installer from MS site requires the account associated with the key which none of us have anymore. I am stuck with the key but no installer.

I came across Buy Office2016 Professional Plus CD Key Global in SCDKey I saw this on the deal via techbargains.com Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 Suite CD Key License $26.95 [2019 Professional Plus or Mac 2019 Home Business $54.92] - Techbargains

I am curious if this website is legit to buy older versions of office.

    Many thanks in advance.

NO, Those sites no matter who promotes them are selling pirated keys.

    Hi there.

it's possible there might be pirated keys - but sometimes people can sell on software they haven't used so the keys could be genuine.

What Ms really need is in their activation servers is a facility to see if these keys are still active rather than just check if they are legit. People selling on should first have to "De-register" the software with Ms first so keys now marked inactive - but still valid. The buyer could check keys still valid or not. If they've never been used then that would automatically render them as OK and legit for installation subject to other conditions e.g was this version of Office dependant on a previous version (i.e upgrade) or brand new one.

Keygens make this not an easy process to police but given the resources of Ms (is it now a TRILLION DOLLAR company with more budget than NASA, CIA, NSA combined) this should be easy enough for them to fix it.

The old adobe photoshop CS6 had that type of facility if you wanted to move photoshop between machines.

If for example because of business I have several spare copies of Office 2xxx for example why shouldn't I be allowed to donate the ones I don't need to Schools who these days need every penny they can save wherever they are - or other institutions who are also struggling for cash in order to provide services to less well off recipients.

    Cheers
