Office 365 - OneDrive - 6TB - but 1TB per user

Yes, it's limited to 1TB per user. However, you can use the website and logon multiple users there and upload stuff into that one drive space.

You will need to setup additional email addresses to use for each account. You could also create additional accounts on your devices and logon as those fictional people to utilize the space.

I love the fact that I get 6TB of space in OneDrive, but I don't even use 400GB of space between my wife and myself. We have our phones upload pics automatically up there.

Indeed, I thought of the 'additional email addresses-solution'.

However, what I don't know is what the consequences may be of creating these, let's say, OneDrive non-used email addresses.
Where to create?
Probably the email account should also be created within Outlook?
Again, currently I don't have 365 yet.
It is a bit vague as to how to handle this correctly.

In your situation, whilst assuming you are using 365, you and your wife have different email accounts, so different mailboxes and different .ost files and probably using different hardware? (e.g. each having their own laptop)

I use an ancient hotmail account that I got many moons ago. For my wife, and kid's accounts, I created them at outlook.com.

We don't use Outlook for any of these email addresses. We just check on them from time to time with a web browser.

Both the wife and I use Gmail for our primary email, with our ISP provided email as our secondary. I am running Office 365 on a Mac and not using Outlook. My wife is still running a standalone copy of Office 2013 that I bought before going to Office 365 and she runs Outlook on her laptop to check our ISP email...which we are moving away from.

On my son's Windows 10 desktop computer, I have an account on the computer and so does he. I have his account setup to use OneDrive and Office 365, however I have kept my account on his computer just local with no office stuff setup.

My daughter has a Mac and she has Office 365 installed on her computer. She doesn't use her computer for email, she gets it on he iPhone and through the browser.

Many thanks for your elaborate reply. I was hoping you and your wife (and maybe others) were using Outlook from 365 for Windows from various devices and see how that would have been set up, e.g. both using the laptop, but different email accounts, etc.
