Office 2016 latest update All inbound emails going to SPAM folder

Hi folks

after latest update Office 2016 is putting all my inbound emails into SPAM folder.

Doesn't matter if I say never block sender or even delete the spam folder itself (the folder BTW I'm not talking about the contents) .

next time email comes in it goes back to spam and spam folder re-created.

Is there a way that I can totally 100% disable the spam folder -- I don't get much if any junk mail all that rubbish goes to a gmail account that I don't have on outlook.2106

This is getting annoying as office2010 works perfectly -- but I have to use Office 2016 on my current work gig.

Monday morning blues again

simply mark as not junk and then those emails from that sender go to correct inbox

definitely too much of "malted product of Scotland" over weekend.
