    Outlook 2016 - notifications calendar/email

    Windows 10 home
Office professional Plus 2016. version 1808

Recently got a new desktop up and running with the above software installed.

The Installed default had notifications (audible and the visual that comes shooting in from the lower right corner) for both email and calendar. In an effort to turn email notifications OFF, and leave calendar notifications ON, I have ended up with notifications for email (audible and visual) working, and neither audible or visual notifications for calendar.

My desire is to have visual and audible notifications for calendar appointments, and no visual or audible notifications for email receipt.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Check option 4 in this tutorials. Sorry if you already done this.

Turn On or Off Notifications from Apps and Senders in Windows 10 |Windows tutorials

One thing, if you want to use Outlook's calendar (from Office), Outlook have to run to be opened to give you notification. Mail and calendar app (Windows app) run in background.

Notifications are accessible in : Settings / System / Notifications and...

Scroll down to the app you want to manage and click on it. You have all options there:
But there is only one setting for Outlook (Mail and calendar together)
