Show Paste Options Button In Excel 2016

Can anyone explain to me why the show paste options button in Excel 2016 somehow keeps getting unchecked?

I use auto-fill a ton in Excel but it doesn't work if the show paste options button is unchecked. I don't know why it keeps happening but it happens a lot, I'd say about once every few weeks or so, where I'll attempt to use auto-fill and it doesn't work and I have to go in and check and that box will be unchecked. I check it and it allows me to use auto-fill again. I for the life of me cannot figure out what could be causing that setting to turn its self off all the time like this. Any ideas on what could be causing my issue?

    Hi AUTiger1

You using any cleaners, tuners, tweakers or privacy tools? (CCleaner, WinAero, O&O Shutup Windows)

    Which AV('s) are you running?

No, I don't use any of those programs. The only programs I use are MalwareBytes and every now and then Iobit programs such as their powerful uninstall.

Would you have used either between the last time you set and found it unset.

A quick test. Ensure option is set, check mark in paste. Run iobit to remove something, might have to install something, and then check status. Doesn't sound like something Malwarebytes would do but it would be worth testing it too.

I'm thinking it has to be Iobit changing something now that you've mentioned it. Thankfully it's something that I've done a few times now so I know exactly where to find it in the settings and how to fix it. The first couple of times I about pulled my hair out trying to fix it. I'm gonna go ahead and mark this as solved. Thanks for your help! I'll give you a thumbs up.
