The thing is, you should not add POP / IMAP accounts in Outlook. You should instead shut down Outlook, and add these accounts in Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Mail as told in my previous p.

This issue came up in a thread a few days ago (it was just one of the many I read through for Mod purposes cannot specifically point to it).

The way to achieve what you wish to do, is to set it up as best you can and then use the Repair option which apparently gives access to the SMTP security options
@Barman58, not knowing which thread you are talking about, maybe you could offer this solution in that thread.

    Hello Barman58

Unfortunately, with the new Outlook 365 Add and Acount interface, it is impossible to set anything up if the outgoing server requires authentication (unless you know a way).

    Thanks for the reply

    Glad you got your answer.

You might want to go back to your screen shots and either delete them or edit them. Lots of email addresses within that you may not want public.

    Good idea Ken BUT:

None of my posts have the Edit Post option. All I have at the bottom right are the Quote and Multi-Quote options

That doesn't sound right. You can't edit someone else's.

Take a screen shot of post #14. please.

Not saying this is the reason, but sometimes new members (Steveatootac yesterday) do not have enough elapsed time yet for edit functions and other functions.

May want a Mod to handle.

The marvels of modern computing! Now, you may want to go back and fix post #5, as Ken suggested.
