Change (increase) the font size in Outlook 2016 reading pane

My tired old eyes, 85 years, no longer can comfortably read emails in the reading pane. How can I increase the size of the font a notch or two? I searched the web but cannot find an answer that will work on my W10 system.

Will really appreciate any help on this.

    Thank you.

There should be a slider lower right corner, just above notification area in full screen. Slide it bigger.

The slider option works for the current item you are viewing... be nice for us old farts to be able to set it to a zoom level that will remain for all emails...

Agree. Certainly one thing you can do is talk to the people you deal with the most and ask them to increase their default font. That is what I do when I set someone up. Are eyes ain't getting better.

I just found this article which seems to state how to change to font size and type in the reading pane....

Have not tried it yet but it might be worth investigating...

    Thanks Kipper.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to make that work. Can change the fonts everywhere but the reading pane.

    Thanks again.
