Just trying the Preview here.

Having gone from Office 2010 Starter to this, I can't give a really honest review, though!

This is strange!

In Word 2019, sometimes the Quick Toolbar icons look like 'wire' icons...



then other times they look softened or flattened...



It's very random!

Has absolutely hideous problems with email account setups -- can't be done manually unless you use control panel outlook applet (it's marked outlook 2016). Also has problems with IMAP - SENT mail only seems to be visible on the machine used for sending email --IMAP should e visible on ALL devices.

Don't even think about installing this one from "Cold" with no other office system previously installed / uninstalled.

Any config / settings / menu / toolbar config is no longer available --it really is "Kindergarten Office".
I've gone back to Office 2010 -- might be old but things still work like they are supposed to and it's still got nearly 2 years left in support. I don't need all the "Team collaborative" stuff -- there's plenty of things like SKYPE etc for that purpose so there's not much new in any version of office after 2010 that makes it a mandatory update.

Outlook 2010 sends a docx doc without problems.
