MS Office 2016 installation problems

I have Office 2016 professional keys I got way back when I was first nominated as MVP. Back when it was MSDN. Those keys are now marked as discontinued on My Visual Studio Subscription. I can still use them though. I'm using them now on a couple PC's here at home. They don't show up under my Microsoft Account. Those keys I use with my Microsoft Office ISO to install locally. I also have a new set of Office 2016 professional keys listed on My Visual Studio Subscription. Those keys are meant to be used with the Get Office App for a Cloud install. As near as I can tell anyway. I've used one of them for testing and its listed under my Microsoft account as a Single License. I click the Get Office App, install office, and just point it to the key and office activates. As near as I can tell I can use it on any one PC I log into with my Microsoft ID. As long as its only activated on any "one" PC.
I am glad that worked out for you and that it was legit. From what I've seen, more often than not, it doesn't work out well for the buyer. Thus my buyer be ware comments.

How can it cost 50 $ ? last time I asked they told me 549,00 € + VAT,

Yes the product I was sold works fine and was checked out by Microsoft not only the validation keys but also the installation as I allowed Microsoft to explore My PC through their special application I was linked to, downloaded and installed on my PC. I asked the agent to check the validity of the MS Office 2016 and to make certain it was not part of any subscription, bundle or product for students as she said there are many of those kind of MS products being illegally sold on eBay. I told the agent if they found anything was wrong I would request a refund from eBay noting the reason found by Microsoft.

After providing the activation keys and a thorough inspection of my PC's installation I was told my product was stand-a-lone product for one owner and not part of any subscription or product for students and 100 percent legit.

I suppose the seller could ask alot more for the MS Office 2PC USB key however some ebay sellers find good deals on Microsoft and other PC hardware and software products and pass it on to others not to make a bunch of money but to help their business and to increase their customer base. Aslo they want to move products as do most companies and manufactures. As today we're in a mass production era of shorter life products. Not that many years ago products were generally manufactured to last 30+ years and not need to be upgraded. Today your lucky for some products to last 2 or 3 years. Most mid range automobiles costing around 30k or so are manufactured and designed designed to last a maximum of 7 years or ~100,000 miles.

In Japan many automobiles engines are replaced after 30,000 miles. One reason is as the engines have problems and began polluting at at around 30k and it cost more to make repairs than to just replace then engine . In the US alone over 50 percent of the repairs are for repairing emission systems which often cost more than making engine and drive train repairs.

The auto shops say ok will only charge you ~$100.00 per hour (hour min. to look at your electrical problem most likely related to the ECU.) What they don't tell you if they can't immediately find the problem and require a more thorough diagnostics that will likely take around 5 hours and at least a $500.00 repair bill less parts.

Anyway what in part I think were looking at is a convergence to a mass marketing phenomenon that manufactures started to follow a few decades back to increase their profits as many really weren't making any profit and struggling trying to sell quality product designed to last a lifetime or nearly a lifetime.

Mass production and high volume sales creates surplus.

So there's alot of deals out there of surplus products as well as to generally move products which appears to be both a trend and a number one priority for most manufactures of consumer products these days.
