Well at least you know it isn't your printer since I have 2 printers & it does it on both of them.

I'm talking to a guy on Microsoft & his company had to rollback & turn off auto updates. My Excel is running version 1806, but I don't know how to rollback. I asked him & hopefully he'll tell me.

The I.T. people did it. Luckily I just bought 2016 in Jan. & have that .exe file on my computer. I'll just install that & then turn off automatic updates. Hope you find a solution for yours. Maybe do a Google search for doing the rollback.

I installed the initial version I purchased which is 1601 from Sept. 2017 & immediately turned off updates. Believe it or not, but the problem still exists!!! Am I missing something??? Maybe I'll keep the updates turned off & try a Repair.

Coming off yesterday's CU, this has become a minor issue for now. I've got bigger problems now. Good luck there ..

Well as mysteriously as it started, it has quit and returned to saving the settings. The rarest of issues, it fixed itself!

Thanks for the contributions, much appreciated.
