Is this a subscription to Office 365 2016?

No, the common Office 2016 which i buyed. But i also just learned from Microsoft helpdesk that it was a version for developers, so they advised me to change it for 365 ( € 10.--/month). The seller advised me to leave it just that way, because it's "harmless".

I'm giving you a screen shot and the URL to go to that site:

Is the one on the far right what you bought? If so, it's not a developers' edition. It's just a standalone version of Office that doesn't get regular updates.

Rakuten in Germany is selling Office 2016 very cheap, varsio.nl a bit more expensive, sometimes about 20.-- !

but i think i will not bother about those "updates" and just leave it.

Of course, I don't know anything about that site, so I can't say. Are you sure they're selling legitimate copies of Office 2016?

The Microsoft chat-helpdesk controled the 25-reg.number and then informed me those were meant for developpers. I think i will just leave it this way so far.As a matter of fact they are legitimate.

Good that they're legitimate. There are so many jerks out there wanting our money for nothing.

    Thanks for the rep.
