Your Mailbox Has Been Temporarily Moved

    Hi, folks:

I've never seen anything like this before, and hadn't thought of it before, but it may (or may not) have something to do with the last two Insider Builds:

I uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365, but I still have the notice.

This machine is dual boot, with RTM and Insider partitions. The installation on RTM works fine, although there have been some serious problems with Outlook 2016 of late.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Thanks, Callender, but I've been all over that and nothing works. There's no actual link to install the fix, and I cannot find anywhere on my computer the defective KB resides.

I'm so frustrated I think I need to throw the computer out the window.

I reckon you'd need to reset your outlook profile.

    Try backing up first:

Note: I only use Office 365 and Outlook at work and not on my machine at home.

One thing to note is that I have a "new" mailbox:

Thank you, Callender, for your help. I've read all the stuff you pointed to and then some more stuff!

I created a new profile, which left Outlook in a "nope, I ain't agonna open" state, then I went in and removed the original profile and, voila! Outlook is now opening with no problems, although I have to recreate my other five mailboxes it removed (without my permission, I might add).

Oh, and that outlook_6B2AE1BB40667EAF@outlook.com address is now gone too! Yay, because I think that was part of my problem.

I also had this and was frustrated as heck. No sooner than I got it working properly than it went and did the same thing. In the end I worked out that it was caused by outlook.com.
For some reason it suddenly decided to switch to outlook.com rather than my local server here at home. As soon as I deleted the profile and created a new one it was all good until I shut down and started up the next day. Took a while to track it down but in the end I added a entry to my hosts file to point outlook.com to 127.0.0.1 and have never had the issue back again.
