    Removing Office '16 context menu entries?

    Hello;

    I've recently installed Office 16 in Win10 64bit and only just noticed that it's added new context meny entries in my explorer.
    Upon /r clicking (in the desktop, not on a file), under "new" category, there are now entries for each and every Office 'product':
    New Word document, New Excel, etc. etc.

    As per title, i'd like to remove them all if possile.
    CCleaner does not see them as added, so that's not an option. I tried looking in registry under those 'shell' entries i'm aware of, but found nothing. I also downloaded the relevant tool from Nirsoft's page just in case, but it too cannot see them. I lastly Googled for a solution, but have yet to find anything relevant.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    And thank you for reading :)

    The list can get a bit long, LibreOffice, WordPerfect, SoftMaker [office-type] are the same. One way to shorten it would be to uninstall the programs then reinstall using Custom to choose only the programs desired. Microsoft Office 2000 [yeah it's old but does work] also shows on the menu on one of my Notebooks.

    Aenra,

    For Office 2007 the Registry keys to delete in order to remove these are

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.accdb\Access.Application.12\ShellNew
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.docx\Word.Document.12\ShellNew
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pptx\PowerPoint.Show.12\ShellNew
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xlsx\Excel.Sheet.12\ShellNew

    so when you get to each section you will find that your entries are .15 or .16 instead. Paste HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.accdb etc into RegEdit's address bar then look to see what you have.

    Denis, thank you so much! Really appreciate it, added some rep :)
    Once again, much obliged, don't think i'd have found those on my own.
