    My Groups in Outlook.

Just this week I had to upgrade my work laptop to 10 with Outlook 2016. Now on Outlook I have my groups on the left beneath my email folders. That wasn't there when I was on 7 with Outlook 2013. Is there a way to remove it? I tried google but couldn't find anything definitive. If it'll help my organization uses office 365 as it's provider. I have full local admin access.

Wasn't even aware of these groups :) Some MS resources says you can't disable view of them since Outlook 2013, but here are instructions (for Outlook 365). Try yourself. I don't use them and don't have them, so can't try.

Thanks but that's not what that is which is why I had to post this thread. This isn't hidden or partially hidden folders grouped together. This is an entirely separate section that says groups and has nothing in it. If I expand it it says that I haven't joined any groups. This actually looks more like what it is. Again this didn't happen until my migration to 10 and outlook 2016.

Looks possible, since you have Admin access. But it looks to be a setting for everyone, meaning all have it on or off.

I don't want to disable groups globally. I just want to remove it from Outlook. Surely there is a registry key I can change or add. I am attaching a screenshot of what I am looking at.

Can't help you with getting rid of it. But I just figured out this groups is what Distributions list used to be. I work many different projects so have multiple distribution list or groups now I find it easier than scrolling through contacts list to find the right distribution list.
