A few weeks ago, I purchased an Office 365 Business Premium subscription and installed it. I don't recall the version, but after reading the release notes you've posted, it looked like one of the latest ones.

This week, I had to uninstall & reinstall 365 from my PC, via my Office account. But now the version is 1808 and the first thing I noticed was that everything looked 'older', as in an older version of 365; older icons, there's missing options & functionalities that I had in my first install, and other differences.

It's clear that my initial install of 365 was a much fresher version, so I'm wondering why this reinstall is an obviously older version. I haven't hit Office Updates yet to see if a fresher version will come in. Thanks.

O365, imho, is nothing but a big scam: "Premium features" that never turn up because said features are rolled out "asymmetrically" and might never reach your particular installation.
