What was wrong with old iso which worked every time. e.g which gives options available on all fields -- woe betide people with Office 2019 who use their own domains / mail servers !!!!!!

(There are a few get arounds to get some of the old menus back - but really we shouldn't have to go through all these hoops etc just to set up an email address !!).

So I'm saying currently -- Long Live Office 2010 - installation and updates perfect works every time and email accounts - whatever complexities your server(s) / domains have causes no probs whatsoever -- I'm keeping this until at least EOL in Dec 2020.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with you in some respects - they've really gone to incredible lengths to 'dumb things down' for the end user (much in the same way WinX has, as well).

However, I also do not use Outlook as my daily email program.

And I don't have any (known) 'influence' with M$ in any way that I know of.
