Enable 'Always Ask Before Opening This Type of File' in Outlook 2016

I accidentally remove the checkbox 'Always Ask Before Opening This Type of File' when opening an attachment in outlook 2016 on windows 10.
Anyone knows how i can restore this please?

i find that you can resolve this by deleting the long string number in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentExecute.
Problem is that this key is not in win10 registry

its for all file types. i usually open pdf, doc, xls etc

In that case, see if completely resetting Internet Explorer to have its security settings reset may help.

I'm not sure this will work, but you could try using Option 1 below to resetting file associations back to Microsoft recommended defaults to see if that may help.

thanks again, didn't work, it opens the file with windows default program without prompt

there must be a registry setting for win 10...
