Thanks anyway. I hope life is treating you well. I'm sure you've noticed but I've backed away from a Win10 book idea. Two big reasons, plus a bunch of smaller ones:
1. I've come to appreciate the forums and tutorials as great vehicles for discovery and learning. Books go out of date much too quickly nowadays. The forums and tutorials refresh themselves, as it were.
2. The two-three publishers I talked to were all no more than lukewarm on the idea. A good summary of their responses would be "Desktop OSes are so ... 20th century!"
But thanks for putting up with me anyway. I would still like to find a way to collaborate, but it looks like it will be through your channel.
Do you know any serious Web developers among our brethren? I need to hire somebody to give me a hurry-up training on working some details in the Chrome developer tools, specifically as they relate to producing a stack trace while a Web page is being processed. I'm happy to pay $100 an hour plus to get the help I need. Do please let me know if you can point me at somebody I can contact to do this. Thanks!
