    Yeah, luckily I also use Junctions to point my user library folders to a separate storage hard drive, so I never lose any user data when I play around with my system(s) and now with SSDs it's super quick to reload. Dang, though, going back to a spinner HDD for the experiment in this thread was painfully slow! I've got a rack in the front of my desktop computer that I can just slide hard drives/SSDs into without having to open the computer up to connect them. It's faster than USB, the rack connects directly to a motherboard SATA port.

    At least now we know you CAN delete your boot partition thanks to you. It should keep all those who are doubtful quiet on the matter.
