I wanted to wait until MS decides my homebuilt systems are deemed ready by MS, and then I would still retain the option to install at my convenience.
At what point do you stop waiting for MS to deem your homebuilt systems are ready? When the next major build upgrade comes out and you haven't gotten the previous one yet? When you are 2 or 3 major builds behind? I've seen threads from users still on the Anniversary Update wondering when MS is going to push a new major build to them.

Good point, very good point in fact. My "day job" workload fluctuates a lot, so regardless of what MS does or doesn't do for my systems, I will upgrade around Dec. 15. Sort of a birthday present to myself.
