I have the latest FCU .iso saved already and used Rufus instead as a temporary solution. Very quick.

It seems that MS have sorted this out now. Could not use the Tool this morning but tried again a few minutes ago and it is working fine.

    2 Click derecho selecciona propiedades
    3 seleccione compatibilidad
4 seleccione ejecutar el solucionado de problemas de compatibilidad.
5 sigues los pasos y te aparece un texto que dice probar la aplicación para verificar que el problema de compatibilidad este resuelto.
    6 seleccione probar .
7 y se abrirá el mediacreation.

I have been trying to run the Media Creation Tool (in the UK) for several days to replace a USB drive lost last week. It has been tried on various machines - mainly already running FCU but 1 on the earlier Creator's Update. Every time this has resulted in the error mentioned in the thread title. I have tried all the proposed solutions in the thread and also downloaded the Media Creation Tool from the US Microsoft site - & nothing has worked, until Delamar's solution above. The download is now 21% completed.

My Google assisted translation of Delamar's solution (with some re-wording by me) is:-

"had the same problem I solved it in the following way:
1 move the "exe" file to desktop
    2 Right click select properties
    3 select "Run compatibility troubleshooter"
4 At "Select Troubleshooting option" screen select "Try recommended settings"
5 At "Test Compatibility Sedttings for the program" screen select "Test the program"
6 At User Account Contol screen select "Yes".

and the media creation tool will open & run without error"

    Solution to this problem

I had the exact same problem in UK using windows media creation tool. I tried everything suggested on here and nothing worked then i read that there are two versions of this for 64 and for 32. I looked for 32 bit version and think i found an older version too as it actually asks what you want to do where windows one goes straight into upgrading the pc your using. Solution can be found at download media creation tool free . Had same problem on my desktop as well and this also works on that.

    solution to this problem 2

After using the link i provided I still hit upon problems during the install process. It said i would have to add the language pack after install but i continued then around 40 per cent finished it hit upon more problems and reverted me back to my previous version. I then tried it but decided to keep no personal files or apps and it installed without problems so i suggest you back up all personal files and do it this way.
For anyone who does need the language pack after install they can be found here Windows 10 Language Packs Direct Download Links
I have come to the conclusion that Windows 10 is a nightmare and unless you absolutely must have it then stick to Windows 7. I now have it installed but when i switch on i get asked two questions about which language i want and then which network am i connecting too. It then says its applying settings and restarts only to ask me the same two questions and do this all over again so im now stuck in a loop but i do have windows 10 lol. Any suggestions to solve this problem?

The link you provided is for a very old version of the MCT that seems to date from before Windows 10 was released in 2015, its version number is 10.0.10240.16399. The MCT from August 2015 that was released at Windows 10's launch was version 10.0.10240.16423. Your MCT will make media that installs version 1507, build 10240 - a version of Windows 10 that is now so old it's no longer supported.

The next version of the MCT was released in November 2015, and makes media for Win10 version 1511, build 10586 (also now out of support). For 1511 and later versions Microsoft stopped producing separate 32/64 bit versions of the MCT - there's just the one version that will run on all systems.
