Windows 10 Pro N - Clean Install to SSD

I'm installing a SSD on my computer and want to start off with a fresh copy of Windows 10.

My current OS is Windows 10 Pro N.

I'm guessing Microsoft wants my new install to be the N version as well.

I downloaded an iso of Windows 10 Pro N and want to put in on a USB stick for the installation.

I just started the Windows Media Creation tool but the only option it gives me is Windows 10 Pro 32 bit or 64 bit.

    Because I currently have
Windows 10 Pro N, do I have to install that version or will it all get sorted out after installation?

Thanks, but I'm not concerned with installing the media features that the N Edition lacks. I know how to do that.

I'm wondering if I have to specifically install Windows 10 Pro N, since that is what I currently have, or if installing the generic version of 10 Pro that the Media Creation tool makes is OK.

I found my original USB stick with Windows 10 Pro N on it so my problem is solved.

Except you have installed an old version. The media creation tool download contains latest N and normal versions - you just choose during installation.

Is that the en-us esd? I'd already spotted that in my en-gb esd. Interesting to note that....

The sizes shown for each edition are the same in the official release as they were when I checked the early 'leaked' one.
Also, we're going to have to be very careful what index number we use with dism from now on...

Note that the index numbers to use for Home and Pro have changed - Home is 3 and Pro is 8 now.

It looks like the MCT and my MSDN ISO are finally the same. This is what is shown for info for my MSDN Multi edition ISO.

Before the Fall Update multi was only Home and Pro. N was a separate ISO, Education was a separate ISO, Education N was a separate ISO etc etc. Now there are only two Multi, and Multi VL that has Enterprise, Pro, and Education on it. Now I only have to download 2 ISO's to have all that I need.
