    Cannot See Build 1703

I'm on Windows 10 x64 1607 and my PC will not go any further. My server is on 1703, but my Desktop refuses to see it, even when checking for updates.

I also tried to install manually, but I get an error that update not applicable to this PC.

    Thanks

Hi DemonTraitor. Welcome to the TenForums @DemonTraitor

Before trying diagnostic procedures I always recommend that you create a backup of your data off machine, create an Image with a tool like Macrium Reflect and have bootable media that matches your current Windows environment.

Not understanding how you tried to install the update manually may I suggest you follow this tutorial.

Assuming procedures runs successfully your machine will be at V1703.

There are some PCs (mainly notebooks) for which that is true.

No, not yet. 1607 will be supported for some time to come and continue to get security updates. Unless you have Pro and selected 'defer upgrades' it should already have been offered the upgrade through windows update though.

1511 has just joined the original release 1507 (aka 10240) in that it has reached the end of extended support.
