Various Things No Longer Update; Windows 10 Error Code 0xc1900107

I recently attempted to update Windows 10, multiple times. Each attempt would seem to progress, reaching about 40% in the installation until ceasing with the titular error code (0xc1900107). After reading that error code a bit, I attempted to turn off my firewall and repeat the installation using the Windows Update assistant but the same events occur. Finally, I gave up attempting to update Windows 10.
Not having used my computer in a few weeks, I checked my NVIDIA GeForce Experience app to see if my graphics driver had an update, which it did. I began installing the update only for it not to succeed. It does not tell me why it did not update, only that it required a system restart. I restarted my system and attempted to update my graphics driver again only for it to not work yet again. Wondering if the tried and true "off and on" fix worked for my Windows 10 update, I attempted to update again, having the installation assistant still on my desktop. Spoiler Alert: it did not work. I am including attempting to update my graphics driver in this thread because both updates worked previous before my aforementioned hiatus from using my computer. Now, coincidentally, when Windows wants to update and can not, neither does my graphics driver. Additionally, the Windows 10 update came with a security update but, as I'm sure you all know, cannot update as it is for the recent Windows 10 update that I cannot install; so, it goes without saying that additionally, I can not install that security update.
Please, some assistance is required as this had not happened before and I am unsure where to begin remedying this situation personally as it does not seem to be within my ability.

Hi Daymusik. Welcome to the TenForums @Daymusik

First what version (1607, 1703, etc) and build are you currently using?

Windows key + R, type winver, enter.

While I read your post and saw you used the assistant I'm going to recommend this process. It will take you to V1703. Once you have USB key built please disconnect from Internet and try process. Make the necessary adjustments in BIOS outlined in tutorial.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

Assuming process runs successfully reconnect to Internet and process updates.

The process is supposed to be non destructive but I always recommend having your data backed up off machine, have bootable media available and a Image created with a tool like Macrium Reflect.

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

    I'm using Version 1511, Build 10586.1106

I'll go ahead and give that a try.

Please let us know how it goes. You're version is quite old and if not already, it will be off support.
