Hi everyone. I have a laptop with Windows 10 install on it. I would like to install Windows 7 as a dual boot scenario.
I tried to install Windows 7 on a partition I made, but got an error message stating that it is a gpt partition. How do I install windows 7 on an existing operating system . Any help will be appreciated. deanie44

HI dalchina. I successfully attached a vhd to Windows 10, but I am have problems installing Windows 7 Home Premium to the vhd. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need another app? Any help will be appreciated, deanie44

You have to boot the installer as UEFI when installing on a GPT disk.

Use the 1 time boot menu to bring up the boot menu, you should see 2 choices to boot from.

If you don`t see 2 choices then that is the problem.

Example: Notice the 2 choices it gives me for the usb stick.
