Every time I check for updates it fails. Also, about 25 minutes ago my $Windows folder that had pre-downloaded Windows 10 went from ~5gb to ~2gb, and the folder inside is called Sources.

You can go to Windows 10 ISO Download - Windows 10 Forums to use the tool that Microsoft has available to create either a USB or ISO.

I read that the update servers are doing 'dummy updates' to test systems' readiness. That sounds a little odd, I admit.

Don't worry i to had failed updates and if i go to my folder that windows 10 downloaded to and run the setup myself it gives and error. I feel they may fix this soon. But i am still looking for a solution.

Is that all, I had over a dozen, and I'm still having problems with one machine.

My $Windows.~BT folder was 6Gb this morning, now down to 2GB.

I gave up and downloaded the media creation tool, currently in the process of downloading to create USB.

Just get the media creation tool from Microsoft and run it.
