    Windows Installation Freezes

I have tried everything I can think of to get this to work. I just did a new build and want to do a fresh install. I want to use the hard drive that windows 10 is currently on from my old build. I have tried using a windows 10 bootable disc, a win 10 usb drive with installation media, and a windows 8 disc. All of these produce the same result. The "dot dial" under the logo freezes. Nothing happens. I don't understand why it won't load the installation? I've tried with multiple HDDs, both empty and used.

I would try a bootable USB flash drive of Kyhi's Recovery Tools and see if you can boot into that:

I found my issue as I was looking at this reply. Thanks, but it turns out I had a faulty RAM module. Anyone who runs into this problem and has the G.Skill Ripjaws V, be sure to check this solution.
