    Hi there, @ChadBonk.

In addition. Just to be sure before making a decision. Which edition do you have? Unless you have Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions, you will not be able to defer upgrades.

It also needs to be Build 15002 or newer to have the defer option. You may then defer upgrades for one year.

Not sure I would be downloading anything from heidoc.net. I know for sure it isn't an official Microsoft site. On the other hand if you know someone personally - IE a friend, with an older iso maybe ask them to burn a copy to a dvd and give it to you.

One other thing Chad. I would detach all other drives from the mobo except the one you're installing to.

I realize it goes a bit against the general rule of using MS Official sites only, but the info and link Navy posted for you is quite safe. It's used by many here. Although not "pure blue-blood MS", it is the successor to Digital River and TechBench sources. The ISO's do come from MS servers. Splitting hairs, but it's as safe or safer than another person supplying you with an ISO.

The heidoc tool generates the links to download the ISO's directly from Microsoft.

One example of a link generated by the tool:

Heidoc generates links to the appropriate Microsoft download. But if you really want to use nothing but Microsoft to find a download, you can get the official Microsoft Download Windows 10 page to offer you the ISO for Anniversary Update (1607) as well as 1703.

Open the link in Edge. Use F12 to open the Developer tools then on the 'Emulation' tab set 'User agent string:' to 'Apple Safari (iPad)'. The page will change to one giving you a choice of ISOs to download directly.

Well... for the time being, I actually hard wired my computer using the ethernet cable. It was a bit of a chore, but, it's done, and no more waiting for drivers and so far that was the only issue that I was having. THank you for all that contributed, its good to know that if something should arise again in the near future, i can still obtain what i want lol.

On a side note, It's interesting what was mentioned about the Hyper X Drive and all the bios changes. I did not realize that there was that much to change really. I thought it would have been plug and play. However tho, I'm using an ASUS board, and i'm not that fluent in BIOS to translate his demo into what my BIOS screen shows. I just tried actually and for right now,... i just got over a 4 day headache with the WiFi.... maybe I might tackle that in a couple weeks unless someone else knows of a ROG ASUS Maximus Vii Formula set up for a Hyper X Drive
