Reinstall Win 10 onto Win 7

A computer glitch during a download (in Win 10) required that the only way to start up ( I tried several programs that wouldn't work-Intermediate to advanced
user). The recovery loaded the original Win 7. I had loaded Win 10 free during appropriate time period. Is there away to get Win 10 to reload free. (Does MS maintain any info that would allow this?)

If your Win10 was Activated then Yes, Microsoft maintains a digital licensing database. I'd try getting the MCT/Media Creation Tool and running it to get either an .iso download or create a bootable USB Thumb drive to reinstall Win10. Use a minimum 8GB drive, everything on it will be lost during the formatting. I can't get the correct link as I'm on a macOS just now but a Search on the 'net for Media Creation Tool will bring up some choices.

Some people prefer using this tool from HeiDoc.net
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool
This tool allows an easy and comfortable way to download genuine Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 disk images (ISO) directly from Microsoft's servers, as well as Office 2007, Office 2010, Office 2013, Office 2016, and Office for Mac.
In the past, Microsoft provided disk images for many of their products through their subcontractor "Digital River". These downloads were pulled in early 2014. Afterwards, Microsoft made a limited selection of downloads available on their TechBench site. Our tool accesses that TechBench site, and unlocks a large number of hidden download files on it.

If you have a not so reliable network that has a tendency to cut in and out once in awhile I would suggest using Free download manager which has no problems resuming downloads

    Edit forgot to post link:
Free Download Manager - download everything from the internet
