    CPU upgrade and windows 10


    If I change my CPU or memory but keep the same mother board.
    Do I need to reinstall windows 10?

    I don't think so. As long as you don't change your motherboard, an OEM or retail copy should reactivate without issues once online.

    Even if you change your motherboard you won't need to re-install Windows. You will have to re-activate it, though. CPU change only should not cause you to have to re-activate Windows.
