    Windows 10 on 16gb

I needed an mp3 player but an mp3 player with a screen bigger than 3 inches.
No luck finding one so I chose to buy a new 8 inch tablet with Windows 10 preinstalled for $55.00 which I will use and call an mp3 player and pretty well nothing else.
Makes sense, now I have a screen big enough to read.
After I clicked purchase I decided to go back and check the specs. lol
Only 16gb memory expandable to 128 gb.

Now what happens with Windows update will the 16 gb allow for any updates? And if not big enough capacity to do so what happens?
    Thanks

It will handle normal updates but build upgrades are pretty much impossible without a clean install.

I I do not understand it being expandable to 128 GB - tablets normally have MMC drive which cannot be adjusted. I assume 128GB refers to an SD card for storage?

@cereberus, He probably means you can either expand it with MMC or purchase it with a higher storage capacity on board.

As it's a tablet @gbm97, it may be too much to hope for even updates to work unless it's running an embedded version (which I don't think exists yet?). On a 2 week old system, the windows folder is 20GB now after updates.

I think you're going to have a bad time even loading music, unless you can expand it with MMC. Even then it's not a stable platform for music playback. (MMC is easily broken)

Thanks, guess I'm a tad confused.
    My new $55.00 tablet arrived.

It was listed as having 16 GB flash memory, but C drive reads 28GB. That's flash memory right?
Come with I GB ram, 1.33GHz

Updated to Creators update no problem.
    Thanks

Not alot but I purchased this tablet to use as an mp3 player and only that. Bigger screen than the 1.5 -2 inch little mp3 players.
With the 64GB SD card to hold the music it works very well.
Has 14 GB free of 28GB with Creators update installed.
Good enough for the price of a couple of large pizzas.

I've got a stick computer and a tablet both with 32GB eMMC "drives". They run just fine for what I use them for. Right now the stick computer is plugged into the minivan's entertainment system with a USB hard drive connected to play movies on the road.

The 32GB eMMC shows up like an SSD in disk management and is disk 0 in diskpart.
