Windows 10 reset. Already tried built in reset. Didn't work.

So I'm trying to reset my windows 10 since I lost Admin access. The built-in way to reset it failed. So I'm kinda stuck on things to do.
    Help!

Hi Running10357. Welcome to the TenForums @Running10537

Here is our tutorial, would suggest "Option Four".

Enable or Disable Elevated Administrator account in Windows 10

Once you've enable built in administrator you can reset your password / status of account.

Next if you are using a local account to sign in I always create a local secondary Admin account on a machine. Sort of like having a second set of keys to the car. Can come in handy.

    Sorry, but this doesn't help.

I'm using a User account right now. You would need admin to do all of those steps unless I am missing something.

One of these three links may help. Let us know which one you used and the outcome.

    1) Lost or Forgot Administrator Password in Windows?
When I try and boot my pc from a usb it just has a blinking line and nothing else.

I've tried number 2, and number 3 requires admin

Option Four does not require you to be admin.

If your machine won't boot from USB enter BIOS and shut off Secure Boot and Fast Boot.

Not sure how you created USB boot drive, please use Windows Media Creation Tool.
