    System update / upgrade

Hello,Thanks for all the answers.Checked my account, as you can see on attached screenshot, I'm user and administrator and I do not mind named "admin", even not entered a photo. What I'm afraid of is that after the upgrade (windows 10 to windows 10) I will get windows in Hebrew (which is the base language), and will have to start all over again to set it back to English as main language. You see, since my first computer with "Dos 6.2", then Windows 3.1, xp, 7, and now 10, I got used to the English, although my native language is Hebrew, many cumputer terms I do not know how they are named in Hebrew. This use of English prevents me from forgeting the language.I installed the English to be able to use the internet, comunicate with others, use programs which are only in English.Hebrew I use only localy, mail, letters, read papers etc.Thats the reason it is so important to me.Well, this was my short story.
    Thanks again
    Motim

    Hi Motim.

Not sure anyone can guarantee it will stay English. At some point you are going to have to update if you want to get security updates. Not sure end dates for each version but 1507 is no longer receiving and yours is only four months older.

At some point you just have to hold your nose and jump in. I hear you on the language. Not having any real experience changing one I shouldn't even be say anything but I don't think it is quite as hard as you fear. Here are two tutorials.

Have your image backup available just in case and back your data up off machine. Always better safe than sorry.

The determining factor is the Current Branch for Business. Microsoft will only support two versions on CBB. When 1703 becomes CBB then support for 1511 will cease. It was 1607 becoming CBB and as a consequence being released to the Volume Licencing Service Center that triggered end of support for 1507.

With the availability of Windows 10, version 1607 to the VLSC on January 26th, the grace period for Windows 10, version 1507 will begin. That means, after May 2017, Windows 10, version 1507 will no longer be serviced as only the two most Current Branch for Business (CBB) versions are actively serviced.
