    Testing 10240 Upgrader: 10166 to 10240 Activated

When backward and made a clean install of the 10166 release directly in the bootup sequence (Legacy: no BIOS setup). Took less then 15 minutes and got no error to report. Made the settings off-line: Internet disconnect. Set default apps with Windows Update switch set to off. Reboot and enable Windows update: Received language pack update only.

Upgrade to 10240 with an active Internet connection directly from the ISO file (see screenshots): Right click on the file and click on Mount, then click on the SETUP file. Follow the process don't touch nothing (it will reboot several times). It takes about 25-30 minutes. Ain't got no error to report: The 10166 upgrade to 10240 was a perfect sequence. A+ ounce again.

You must revisit settings because many of them have been changed by the upgrader.

    All the best,

Similar story - installed 10166, (not activated). Over 24 hours it upgraded to 10240, (not activated). Due to some problems I did a reset after another day, and on the next day when it returned from hibernation it activated.

I only enter the product key of 10166 and none for the upgrade.

Looks like the 10240 upgrade Product Key was a theatrical scenario... Any way, it's quite and stable and never been that quite.
