    parser error


    Upgrading from W7 pro to W10 pro (USB) - have a message that says parser error.
    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.050727\config\machine.config
    parser returned error 0xC00CE556
    I am a novice at this so have no idea what it means.

    64bit Win 10 Pro ver 1709 Build 16299.64

    This does seem to be an error that others have also had when upgrading to W10. I found the following solution posted here:
