    Yes, Windows 8 keys. It read the Windows 8 Core key in UEFI, installed Windows 10 Home without asking for a product key or which version I wanted and activated. I then had to upgrade the Windows 10 Home to Pro by changing the product key to the generic Windows 10 Pro product key which then also activated based on a digital license for Pro. Just like previous versions.
    OK, my key must be being read, but rejected as invalid or something?

    That is not Microsoft. We recommend that people only download Windows ISO files directly from Microsoft, not third part websites like that one. You don't know what they might have inserted into the ISO file before you download it.

    That also explains how you managed to obtain an Enterprise version of Windows 10 that likely violates the EULA (License Agreement) for you to activate and run - if the EULA applies in Thailand.

    It's a little confusing. You state your key is a Windows 10 OEM Enterprise key (which doesn't exist), but ShowKey says it's an 8.1 Professional key. Are you currently running Windows 10 Enterprise? How did that get installed?

    Hey mate, :)

    In this case, the Installed key in ShowKeyPlus is for the currently installed Windows 10 Enterprise.

    The OEM Key in ShowKeyPlus is just the key embedded in the UEFI firmware chip on the motherboard for the OEM Windows 8.1 that originally came preinstalled on the tablet.

    @Brink

    Shawn, I think Mystere is wondering how did it activate...

    NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K-2YT43 is a published GVLK that can only be activated with a KMS server.

    Well, I was trying to get to the bottom of what the OP thinks is happening with his machine. Of course I understand what the situation is, I just want to know if the OP knows how it got to this state.

    Wondering the same thing. You won't get Enterprise no way no how if you upgrade from 8.1 Pro VIA Windows update or via the MCT. Ain't going to happen.
