In the other forum, I had been in discussion with the master. However, before his last replt I reset my system using the media I had created. It just finished that. I had a non activated windows 8.1 with no software that came with it. I have activated the window as I had infact extracted the key when upgrading it to 10. Now my Recovery drive is gone as well. Cant see it anymore.

Glad that worked out. I have given a couple new HP's to family members. I always create the recovery drive on a usb and tell them to keep on hand because no one gives you recovery dvd's any more. The only time any of them used it was to repair a corrupt upgrade to a new SSD. So, it's better to have and not need than to need and not have. Cheers.
