Stuck on version 1703

    Stuck on version 1703


    Hello!

    I am new here and thank you for any support. Well, my Windows 10 is stucked on version 1703 build 15063.138 and as an Insider I've receiving the updates but it always fail. Right now it tried to install Windows 10 Insider Preview 16179.1000 (rs_prerelease) but failed again. I tried run a lot of tips trying to cure the problem. What would you suggest?

    How dd it fail? What was the error code or failure description? If the error code was 0x80070005, see here:

    I hope that works for you.

    I ran into the same problem, read that link and applied the registry fix -- and it made no difference. Update still stops and fails very quickly with the same error message.

    Tried it. Not working. Now error is
    Windows 10 Insider Preview 16184.1001 (rs_prerelease) - Erro 0x80070002
    I think in make a fresh install, oh boy it will take a lot of time

    I had the same problem. After fiddling around with it for a week or more I gave up and did a Clean Install of 15063 then upgraded to 16179. I'm now at 16188, the latest Insider preview.

    Now I was able to upgrade to build 16188.1000!

    The steps I made was reading somewhere about disconnect my secondary drive (D:). Once it done I was able first to install a previous update, but failed again with new error 0x80004005. So I found a youtube video about and even most people were complaining that it was not working it made the job to me.

    Remember that at that point I was without the second drive installed.

    So far it is solved, but I will not mark this post now because I will wait for the next update and so check if goes ok.
